SERGEY SEMENJUK

He was born in Ukraine, where he attended the Odessa Ballet School and graduated in 1976. He worked at the Odessa Opera and Ballet Theatre from 1975 to 1977. In 1977, he was accepted into the Kiev State School of Choreography. After graduating, he worked as a soloist at the Kiev Classical Ballet Theatre and then at the Kiev Opera and Ballet Theatre for Children and Youth. From 1991 onwards, he was a soloist in the Ljubljana ballet ensemble: He danced solo roles in ballets such as Swan Lake, Giselle, Paquita, Chopeniana, Carmen, Firebird, The Nutcracker, Bhakti, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Buccaneer, Don Quixote, Sleeping Beauty, Carmina Burana, Pyrrhic Dances, Orpheus and other world-famous ballets. Since 1995, he has been working in Slovenia as a ballet teacher and choreographer. Some of his most successful children's projects include ballets such as The Nutcracker, Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood, Peter and the Wolf, Chopeniana, Carnival of the Animals, and many solo and group acts.

SVETLANA PETROVIČ

She was born in Russia, where she graduated from the Novosibirsk Ballet School; in 1976, she was accepted into the Novosibirsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. Some of the solo roles in her repertoire are ballets such as Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, The Wayward Daughter (La Fille Mal Gardee), Chopeniana and Spartacus. In 1993, she accepted an invitation from the Croatian National Theatre in Split, where she then continued her carrier as a classical prima ballerina. Since the year 2000, she has been involved in educational work, passing on her knowledge and experience to young people.

JEWGENIJ ZAKHARCHENKO

He was born in Russia. In 1970, he joined Moscow's renowned Bolshoi Theatre Academy of Dance and Choreography, from which he also graduated. In 1978, he was accepted into the Odessa Opera and Ballet Theatre, and he joined the Kiev Theatre of Classical Ballet as a soloist in 1980. He was the lead dancer in ballets such as Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Giselle and others. He has also danced in neoclassical ballets. In 1995, he was a soloist in theatres in France, Switzerland and Germany. In 2000, he studied at the Cologne Ballet Academy in Germany, from which he also successfully graduated, qualifying as a teacher of classical dance according to the Vaganova method. Since August 2005, he has been teaching at the State Ballet School of Berlin - Germany.
